YouTube Step block
Use the YouTube Step block when you want to surface a single video plus a CTA within your flow.
Setup
- Add the YouTube Step block from the Questions palette.
- Paste a supported YouTube URL and confirm the preview loads (no Shorts or playlists allowed).
- Customize the optional title, description, and CTA label.
- Use Jump Logic or a step-level destination to move respondents after they watch or dismiss the video.
Settings
- Supported URLs: Standard watch URLs (
youtube.com/watch?v=ID),youtu.be, or/embedlinks. - CTA label: Attach a call-to-action for the Continue button (optional).
- Jump destination: Use the step jump to send respondents to a future question, lead capture, or completion.
Tips
- Combine with Jump Logic (via section UI or the dedicated guide) to reroute when the CTA is clicked.
- Use descriptive copy so respondents know why you’re showing the video (e.g., onboarding, education).
- Reference tags or variables from earlier answers if you want the CTA to vary by persona; the Response Tags guide explains how placeholders behave.
