Hosted Flow Page
Published July 25, 2026
Publishing a quiz creates a public page at /q/{slug} where participants complete the quiz.
This guide will walk you through:
- What the hosted page includes
- How optional Bio Funnel pre-start pages behave
- How completion messaging works
- What you can customize
When to use this
Use the hosted page when you want the immersive Full-Page presentation at /q/{slug} instead of embedding the quiz. The same Appearance panels that appear after you publish let you pick centered or split layouts, align the question column, and surface a launcher with manual or auto-open triggers so you can control how (and when) participants enter the quiz.
How it works
The hosted page includes:
- Optional Bio Funnel pre-start page (if enabled in Intro & Bio Funnel)
- Title and description (from Introduction & Flow Details)
- Header image (if selected in Introduction & Flow Details)
- Quiz content with questions and lead capture
- Powered by QuizFlow Labs footer (can be hidden on Basic+)
- Full-Page layout controls (centered or split with a static media column, question alignment, and spacing) that mirror the Appearance configuration
- Optional launcher & triggers that surface a button or popover inviting participants and can fire automatically via time on page, scroll depth, or exit intent
If Bio Funnel Builder is enabled, participants land on that pre-start page first and enter the quiz through your configured CTA actions (for example Start quiz, Start at step, Start at intent, Launch quiz, or Redirect URL).
Bio Funnel page content is managed in Intro & Bio Funnel > Bio funnel builder.
See the Bio Funnel Builder guide for sections, containers, block types, and validation rules.
If different buttons should enter different quiz paths, use Intent Paths.
For conversion-focused layout examples, use the social bio funnel checklist.
Layout & media column
The Appearance' Full-Page Settings accordion decides whether the hosted page stays centered or adds a static media column on large screens. Split layout requires the Pro entitlement and a JPG/PNG/WebP image selected from the Asset Library (upload from the picker dialog if needed), and it redraws the media panel whenever you swap assets. Question alignment keeps the flow panel toward the top, middle, or bottom of the viewport so the layout feels deliberate no matter the device.
For split media, use a 4:5 portrait image at 1600 x 2000 px as the default target. Keep key subjects near the center, because the media panel uses cover-cropping across screen sizes. For crisp large-screen rendering, avoid using images smaller than 1200 x 1500 px and keep the compressed file under 3 MB.
Launcher & triggers
When Full-Page presentation is active, the Launcher & triggers controls let you keep the quiz collapsed behind a floating button or popover until visitors are ready. You can toggle the launcher on/off, pick the UI mode (button vs. popover), choose a text variant (icon, text, or text+icon), and style it with your own label, icon, border radius, animation, and notification indicator. Match the launcher to your page by anchoring it left or right, then decide whether the overlay opens manually or automatically after a delay, a scroll percentage, or when exit intent is detected. The same settings power the full-page embed so the experience is consistent wherever you publish.

Step-by-step
- Publish your quiz to activate the hosted page.
- Share the
/q/{slug}link with your audience. - Review submissions and leads from the dashboard.
Tips / Gotchas
- The hosted page only appears when the quiz is Published.
- If the slug is missing, the public link cannot be generated.
- Full-Page presentation, split layouts, and the launcher/trigger controls are gated by plan; publishing checks your entitlements and surfaces upgrade messaging if the feature is locked.
- Branding removal requires Basic+.
