Create Your First Flow
Published July 25, 2026
Use this guide to build your first QuizFlow Labs decision flow from the dashboard. You will name the flow, shape its introduction, add Flow Blocks, configure outcomes, choose its appearance, and publish it.
The builder is flexible enough for simple deterministic flows and richer AI-assisted experiences. Start with a clean first version, then add scoring, response tags, Jump Logic, API steps, or an AI Agent block when the flow needs more intelligence.

The guided wizard moves from the participant introduction through Build Flow, Outcomes, Appearance, and publishing.

When to use this
Use this guide when you are launching your first quiz, creating a new flow for a different audience, or building a reusable structure for a campaign, client intake, product recommendation, link-in-bio funnel, or lead qualification experience.
Keep the first version focused. A simple flow with clear questions, one lead capture step, and a strong outcome message is easier to test before you add advanced routing or AI behavior.

Step-by-step
- Go to Dashboard > Flows and select Create flow.
- Name the flow in the create dialog. This gives QuizFlow Labs a draft to save your work into.
- Open Flow introduction in Intro & Bio Funnel to set the heading, intro message, header image, and social links.
- Save once to unlock the Bio Funnel Builder, then enable it if you want a pre-start page before the flow begins.
- Select Continue to Build Flow and add the blocks your flow needs. Use List mode for detailed editing or Canvas mode to inspect routing visually.
- Add a Lead Capture block if you need contact details before the outcome.
- Use scoring, response tags, Jump Logic, API steps, or an AI Agent step when your flow needs branching, personalization, or external data.
- Continue to Outcomes and write the message participants see after submitting.
- Continue to Appearance to choose how the flow appears as a hosted page, embed, or chatbot-style experience.
- Continue to Finish & Publish, preview the flow, then publish when it is ready to collect responses.
Important builder notes
- The wizard uses five steps: Intro & Bio Funnel, Build Flow, Outcomes, Appearance, and Finish & Publish.
- Bio Funnel actions become available after the flow has been saved at least once.
- Draft flows can be previewed, but participants cannot use the public link until the flow is published.
- The Display responses setting in Outcomes controls whether participants see their answer summary after submitting.
- The same flow can later be embedded on a website, launched as a chatbot, or shared as a hosted public page.
Tips / Gotchas
- Choose a slug carefully; it becomes part of the public URL when the quiz is published.
- Use the Asset Library for polished header images and visual answer options.
- Test both the happy path and any routed paths before sharing a live link.
- If you add AI Agent or API steps, preview the flow with realistic answers so you can confirm the generated variables and routing behave as expected.
- You can continue editing after publishing, but large structural changes are easier to test while the quiz is still in draft.
