Introduction & Flow Details
Published July 25, 2026 • Updated July 31, 2026
Introduction & Flow Details is where you give a Flow its internal name and participant-facing header content before you build its path.
In the current builder, this work sits inside Intro & Bio Funnel. The Flow name identifies it in your dashboard, while Flow introduction controls the heading, intro message, social links, and optional header image shown to participants. Public handles and links are configured before publishing on the final step.

Set the quiz identity first, then shape the header content participants see before or during the quiz.

Quiz identity
Flow introduction
Bio Funnel
If you only need a simple quiz intro, use Flow introduction. If you need a full pre-start page with sections, cards, buttons, contact details, or smart routing, use the Bio Funnel Builder.
Flow name and public link
The quiz name is the internal and external title for the flow. It appears in the dashboard quiz list and helps you identify the quiz later.
On Finish & Publish, claim a reusable account handle and choose a URL-safe Flow or Bio link name. For example, handle bright-studio and link name product-fit-finder create /flow/bright-studio/product-fit-finder.
Handles and link names use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. Different accounts can use the same link name because each account has its own handle.
Keep handles and link names short, readable, and stable before launch. Live handle changes are restricted while redirect protection is being completed.
Flow introduction fields
The Flow introduction section controls the content participants see when the header is visible:
- Quiz Heading: Optional display heading. Leave it blank when the quiz name already works as the participant-facing heading.
- Quiz Intro Message: Rich text copy that explains what the quiz is, who it is for, or what participants will get at completion.
- Social links: Up to four links that render as icons in the header and open in a new tab.
- Header image: Optional visual selected from upload or the Asset Library, with controls for position, shape, crop focus, and size.
Header image controls
Header images are useful for product visuals, creator headshots, profile banners, campaign graphics, and branded intro artwork.
- Image position: Align the image left, center, or right.
- Image shape: Use rectangle for banners and circle for avatar-style images.
- Image size: Set the visual weight between compact and full-width.
- Circle crop focus: Drag the preview to adjust the crop when using a circle image.
Header image uploads are available on Basic+. If the control is locked, use the plan prompt or pricing page to review access.
Header visibility
Header content is configured here, but visibility is controlled in Appearance.
Common header display modes include:
- Always show: Keep the header visible across the quiz experience.
- First question only: Show the header at the start, then let later questions focus on the block content.
- Pre-start CTA: Use the header as a start screen before the first question.
- Hide entirely: Keep the quiz interface focused only on the question flow.
Step-by-step
- Name the quiz when you create it, then open Intro & Bio Funnel.
- Review the public URL slug and adjust it before publishing if needed.
- Open Flow introduction and add an optional Quiz Heading.
- Write the Quiz Intro Message that sets expectations for participants.
- Add up to four social links if the header should include profile, company, or campaign links.
- Add a header image from upload or the Asset Library, then set the image position, shape, and size.
- Save the step and continue to Build Flow when the introduction is ready.
- Use Appearance later to decide when the header is displayed.
Tips / Gotchas
- Keep the quiz name clear enough to recognize in the dashboard.
- Treat the slug like a shareable URL, not a sentence.
- Use Quiz Heading when the public-facing headline should differ from the internal quiz name.
- Keep the intro message short enough to scan before the first question.
- Social links inherit the quiz's primary color from Appearance.
- If you use a header image, preview the quiz on mobile and desktop before publishing.
- Header settings do not replace the Bio Funnel Builder; they work alongside it.
