Choice Buttons block

Choice Buttons mirror Multiple Choice but render as chat-style pills that respond quickly.

How to use

  1. Add a Choice Buttons block from the palette.
  2. Enter the prompt and add each button label (short, punchy text works best).
  3. Enable scoring or tags per button if needed and toggle Jump Logic controls at the bottom.

Settings

  • Selection mode: Always single-select, but you can show multiple columns to mimic multi-select behavior.
  • Tags: Assign tags per button to use in completion copy or downstream logic.
  • Scoring: Attach integer points to buttons; the total feeds {{total_score}} and completion rules.
  • Answer Key + Immediate feedback: Mark the correct button for knowledge-style flows, then optionally show instant right/wrong feedback with configurable correct/incorrect indicators and animation.
  • Validation: Toggle Required to force a button selection.

Jump Logic & tags

  • Add rules at the bottom of the block card to send respondents anywhere in the flow when they tap a button.
  • Use the Response Tags guide to understand how tags surface and the Logic & Branching guide for allowable conditions.

Tips

  • Keep button labels short (20–30 characters) so they render well on mobile.
  • Use descriptive tags when Jump Logic needs to react to a button press.
  • If you need multi-select, use Multiple Choice with the multi-select mode instead.
