Continue Journey Bio Block

Continue Journey is a Bio-only block that appears when a visitor has unfinished progress for the Flow on the current device. It gives that visitor a clear way to resume from the last valid step or intentionally start again.

The block hides automatically for first-time visitors, expired progress, private sessions that cannot retain browser storage, and devices where the visitor has not started the Flow.

What the visitor sees

• A welcome-back message and creator-controlled supporting copy
• The Flow name and saved step number
• A progress indicator
• A Continue Flow action
• A Start over action with confirmation

Continue uses a stable block ID rather than a numeric position. If the Flow has changed and the saved block is no longer valid, QuizFlow Labs safely starts the visitor at the beginning instead of showing an error or bypassing required steps.

Add and configure the block

1. Open the Flow's Bio Funnel editor.
2. Select Add block.
3. Open Discovery and choose Continue Journey.
4. Customize the heading, supporting copy, Continue label, and Start-over label.
5. Choose how long progress remains eligible: 7, 14, 30, 60, or 90 days.
6. Review the desktop and mobile preview, then save and publish.

The builder preview uses representative progress so you can design the returning experience. The published block appears only when real resumable progress exists.

Privacy and saved data

Continue Journey stores only the minimum routing information in the visitor's browser:

• Flow identifier and title
• Current block identifier
• Step number and total step count
• Public Flow path
• Last activity time

Question answers, uploaded files, contact details, and lead data are not stored in Continue Journey browser state. Clearing browser data or changing devices removes access to device-local progress.

Start over behavior

Start over asks for confirmation before clearing progress. Confirming removes only the saved progress for that Flow on the current device; it does not clear other Flows or delete server-side responses.

Analytics

Continue Journey participates in Block Performance analytics. Impressions, resume actions, restart requests, confirmed restarts, and safe resume fallbacks can be measured using the block and Bio Funnel analytics events.

Plan access

Continue Journey requires an active Basic, Pro, or Team plan. The initial release is device-local. Cross-device recognition and lead-aware personalization belong to the later Returning Visitor Personalization capability.
