Consent / Acknowledgement

Published July 29, 2026

Use this Question Block to present a statement and record whether the participant accepted or declined it. It is designed for explicit workflow evidence, not as a substitute for legal advice or a specialized consent-management platform.

How evidence is recorded

1. Present

Show the exact acknowledgement statement and an optional Content Page or external artifact.

2. Respond

Record the explicit accept or decline selection.

3. Preserve

Snapshot the statement, purpose, timestamp, response, and referenced artifact revision with the submission.

Configure the block

  1. Add Consent / Acknowledgement from the Flow Block picker.
  2. Write the participant-facing statement in the expanded block.
  3. Open Evidence & response to select the purpose and customize response labels.
  4. Under Supporting artifact, choose a published Content Page, an External URL, or no artifact.
  5. Use Logic to route accepted and declined responses.
  6. Preview both paths before publishing.

Supporting artifacts

Use a Content Page when you want to host terms, a privacy notice, a disclaimer, eligibility requirements, or a waiver inside QuizFlow Labs. The page opens in an in-flow review panel, so the participant can read it and return to the acknowledgement without losing progress.

Use an External URL when the supporting information already lives on your website or another trusted service. The URL example changes with the selected acknowledgement purpose.

Only published Content Pages can be selected. If a referenced page is archived, unpublished, or unavailable, the Flow cannot be published until the reference is repaired.

Evidence record

The response detail page shows the exact statement presented, accepted or declined status, recorded timestamp, purpose, artifact type, and external version or published Content Page revision. This preserves useful historical context even if the Flow or Content Page is edited later.

Consent is contextual

A recorded click does not automatically make wording legally sufficient. Owners remain responsible for appropriate language, disclosure, legal basis, retention, and withdrawal processes for their jurisdiction and use case.

Plans

Core acknowledgement, external URLs, and evidence recording are available on every plan. Selecting and hosting a reusable Content Page requires the Content Pages entitlement. Conditional response routing follows the existing Jump Logic entitlement.
