Map / Location Block

Published July 26, 2026

Map / Location helps visitors find a business, venue, office, event, or appointment. It combines a public address, optional arrival information, an interactive Google map, and a Get directions action.

Where you can use it

  • Bio Funnel: Place a location alongside profile details, social links, FAQ, testimonials, contact information, and Booking.
  • Flow: Show a relevant address after qualification, before an appointment, or within a location-specific intent path.

Map / Location is an informational and action block. It does not ask for the participant's location, calculate serviceability, or change routing by itself.

Configure a Bio Funnel location

  1. Add Map / Location from the Bio Funnel block picker.
  2. Enter an optional heading and description.
  3. Enter a complete public address.
  4. Customize the directions button label.
  5. Choose a small, medium, or large map.
  6. Turn the interactive map off when an address card is more appropriate.

Configure a Flow location

  1. Add Map / Location from the Flow Block library.
  2. Add a location name in the Flow prompt or location heading.
  3. Enter the complete address.
  4. Add optional arrival, parking, or accessibility details.

Runtime and fallback behavior

  • QuizFlow Labs constructs the Google Maps embed and does not accept arbitrary iframe HTML.
  • The map loads lazily to reduce initial page work.
  • The directions action opens Google Maps in a new tab.
  • If the map connection is unavailable or not configured, the address and directions action remain usable.
  • QuizFlow Labs records map impressions and directions interactions for product analytics.

Privacy and safe content

Only publish addresses intended for public visitors. Do not use the block to expose a private home address or infer a visitor's current location. The initial version does not use browser geolocation, Places Autocomplete, paid geocoding, service-radius calculation, or nearest-location lookup.

Map / Location versus Location Qualifier

Map / Location shows where the destination is. A future Location Qualifier question will collect a participant's country, region, city, or postal code and use that response for serviceability and routing decisions.
